Appalachian Morning
12" x 24" Oil on Canvas
By: Lacy Camp

"This painting is inspired by a photo I saw somewhere online and it triggered memories of traveling to see my grandmother in the Appalachian mountains of east Tennessee. The old roads were winding and I would get so car sick Mother had to give me Dramamine, but I loved coming over the top of the last mountain and looking into the valley below where my grandmother was waiting at her house to welcome us!"
