EPA's Watershed Academy has an online training module on "Getting In Step: A Guide to Conducting Watershed Outreach Campaigns." This module offers a tested step-by-step system to help local governments, watershed organizations and others maximize the effectiveness of public outreach campaigns to help solve nonpoint source pollution problems and protect local waterways. The module is based on EPA's free, downloadable outreach guide "Getting in Step: Guide for Conducting Watershed Outreach Campaigns".

EPA Thirstin Program - The Office of Water has launched a new Kids Page featuring a new character called "Thirstin." This site contains games, activities and narrated/animated classroom experiments. Some of the new activities include an animated water cycle; word scramble; word search; water trivia and "Thirstin's Wacky Water Adventure." Teachers and students can work on-line or download some of the information for classroom use.
