Priority Registration: Jan. 27-Feb. 6
Priority registration is for those who raised $200 or more in
Canoe-A-Thon donations in 2013. A registration code is needed
from Georgia River
Network to complete registration.
Regular Registration: Feb. 10- March 2
Requests to register for the remaining thru-paddler spaces will
be taken during these dates and will be awarded through invitation/lottery
after Feb. 27. Those selected to participate will be notified
on March 7 and will be sent registration instructions and a registration
code that will allow them to register from March 7-21.

Paddle Georgia Lite (June 21-22
Only) 2014 Information
Paddle Georgia Lite is our abbreviated
trip for just the first two days of Paddle Georgia - June 21-22.
Paddle Lite is by invitation only. If you are interested in participating
in Paddle Georgia Lite, please fill out a registration form
between Feb. 10 - March 2. No payment will be due at that time.

you may present your ACA card during registration on June 20 or
21 to receive a $5 rebate on your registration fee. To become an

A year's membership in Georgia River Network is included in all

registration fees will be refunded to all paddlers who generate
more than $700 in Canoe-A-Thon pledges to support river
protection in Georgia. Prizes will be awarded to participants
generating the most Canoe-A-Thon pledges, and the top fundraisers
will receive priority registration status for Paddle Georgia

$212 includes breakfast, lunch and dinner for seven days including Kick Off
Day Feast and Journey’s End Feast. Participants may also select their
meals ala carte during registration.
Each meal is catered by professional caterers or local civic groups.
Expect hearty fare with vegetarian options. Sack lunches include
sandwiches (several choices each day), chips, fruit and dessert.
All participants will choose their luncheon sandwiches via the
meal registration forms.
**One night, participants will “eat on their own” at
local restaurants. The price of this meal is not included in the
meal package. Coffee and breakfast tea are not included. A coffee
vendor will accompany the trip, and coffee and breakfast tea can
be purchased at the event directly from the vendor.
Once You Have

e-mail (unless regular mail is requested) a packet of essential
trip information including information about shuttle services,
meals, campsites, and a liability waiver form. You will also be able
to click here to access this information online.
2. Start raising money for Canoe-A-Thon.

For your safety and the safety of others.
1.) No alcoholic beverages will be allowed.
2.) All participants must attend the pre-launch safety briefing. Participants must adhere to the safety guidelines presented.
3.) Participants must wear a properly fitted U.S. Coast Guard approved personal floatation device at all times on the river.
4.) Participants under age 18 are the responsibility of, and must be accompanied by, a parent or guardian.
5.) Sorry, no pets allowed.
6.) All participants must sign a Medical and Emergency Contact Information sheet and a Waiver of Claims and Release of Liability form. Parents must sign for children under the age of 18. (These forms will be sent in the info. packet.)
7.) Person-powered watercraft only.
8.) All participants must respect private property along the river.
9.) All participants must have basic paddling skills and be capable of self-rescue in the water.
10.) No more than 2 children under the age of 12 per adult guardian.
11.) Georgia River Network is not responsible for any personal property that may be lost, damaged, or stolen during the trip.
Violations of these policies can result in the participant being removed from the event without refund.
Registration, Kick-Off and Trip’s End shuttle, and meal fees may be reimbursed prior to June 1. Refunds will not include reimbursement of processing fees.
